Done Right & Company

Our story

Done right, or not at all.

The name is the standard. Jewellery is bought rarely, kept for a long time and usually attached to something that matters, which is a poor place to cut corners.

The stone comes first

On anything significant we start with the stone and build the setting around it. Picking a design first and forcing a stone into it is how people end up paying for weight they cannot see.

You approve the design

Nothing goes into production until you have seen it and agreed the price. Most custom work goes wrong because the maker and the customer pictured different things, and a drawing settles that early.

Plain answers about money

We will tell you where a budget is better spent and where it is being wasted, including when that means selling you something cheaper than you asked for.

How we work

Made, not just sold

A lot of what we do is one-off: an initial, a reset of a stone someone already owns, a piece rebuilt after years of wear. That work does not fit a catalogue, which is why the website is a starting point rather than the whole range.

See how a commission works
Natural and lab-grownWe carry both and will tell you which you are looking at, every time.
Repairs and resetsIncluding pieces we did not make. Bring it in and we will look.
No pressureIf it is not right, it is not right. Nobody is working a commission target at you.

Come and see for yourself

Visits are by appointment so the right pieces are out and someone is free to talk.
